Cohomology of sheaves and
differentail operators on moduli spaces

The talk is on
a joint work with I-Hsun Tsai. We prove an identification theorem between the
first direct image of sheaves on curves and the sheaves of differential
operators on moduli spaces of vector bundles on the curves. As an
application, we give a new construction of Hitchin's connection on the moduli
space of curves with level structures, which has a natural extension to the
boundary of certain singular stable curves. |
